Yes — during our launch period, all adverts are completely free to post. No credit card is required. Browsing and contacting sellers is always free, with no account needed. After the launch period, pricing will be introduced with advance notice. See our Pricing page for details.
No. Anyone can browse all adverts and view full listing details without registering. An account is only needed to post an advert. Contacting a seller is done directly via WhatsApp, phone, or email — no account required for that either.

Yes. The platform interface is in English, but advert descriptions and job descriptions can be written in any language. The UK catering industry is diverse and many workers are not English-first. CaterMarket is designed to work for everyone.
Every advert must include at least one direct contact method — WhatsApp, phone number, or email. These are shown on the advert page. You contact the seller directly. No platform messages, no agents, no commission.

Register for a free account, then click + Post an Advert. Choose your section, fill in the fields, upload up to 8 photos, and add your contact method. Your advert goes through a brief review before going live — usually within a few hours.
Up to 8 photos per advert. Photos make a significant difference — adverts with clear, well-lit images consistently receive more enquiries. Upload as many as you can.
All new adverts are reviewed before appearing publicly. This ensures quality and removes anything in breach of our terms. Most adverts are approved within a few hours. If rejected, you will receive an email explaining why and you can resubmit after making changes.
Yes. Log in, go to My Adverts, and click Edit. You can change the price, description, photos, and contact details at any time. Significant changes may require a re-review before the update goes live.
At least one of: WhatsApp number, phone number, or email address. You can provide all three. This is how buyers contact you directly — there is no platform messaging system.
During the free launch period, adverts stay live until you remove them. After the launch period, set durations will apply depending on the pricing plan. You will be notified in advance. You can always renew or repost from your dashboard.
Yes — there is no limit. Each advert is managed separately from your dashboard. Useful for dealers selling multiple pieces of equipment, agents with multiple premises, or businesses hiring regularly.
Staff Wanted ads are posted by employers looking to hire. Work Wanted ads are posted by workers advertising their availability. Both appear on the same Jobs Board, making it easy for employers and workers to find each other in one place.
No. There is no CV upload or application form. When you find a role, you contact the employer directly via WhatsApp, phone, or email. How you present yourself is entirely up to you.
Yes. The structured fields are in English, but the description can be in any language. Many employers write bilingual descriptions to reach workers from particular communities. This is a key feature of CaterMarket.
No — all job adverts are completely free during the launch period. You will be notified well in advance if pricing is introduced after launch.
Browse Staff Wanted adverts without an account. Filter by role, location, and employment type. Contact employers directly from each advert. You can also post a free Work Wanted ad to advertise your own availability (free account required).
No identity verification is required. We review all adverts before they go live to check for obvious misuse. As with any jobs platform, use your own judgement and never pay a fee or provide bank details to a prospective employer before meeting in person.
Click Log In / Register in the navigation bar, then select the Register tab. You need your name, email, phone number, and a password. No ID verification, no waiting — your account is active immediately.
On the login page, click Forgot Password and enter your registered email. You will receive a reset link. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive. Still stuck? Email hello@catermarket.co.uk.
Log in and go to My Adverts from your dashboard. You can view all active, pending, and expired adverts, edit details, upload new photos, mark as sold, delete, or renew expired listings.
Go to Edit Profile in your dashboard. You can update your name, email, phone, and WhatsApp number. Note: updating your profile does not automatically update contact details on existing adverts — edit each advert separately if needed.
Email hello@catermarket.co.uk from your registered address. We will process the deletion within 5 working days and confirm by email. All your adverts will be removed at the same time. This action cannot be undone.
